Planning for fundraising ideas

The first step is covering the cost of insurance needed.

Looking towards the Bake Sale to kick off funds towards raising enough money for the required insurance policy.

Discussion included times of sale in front of the Municipal bldg, and pricing for baked goods. Volunteers signed up for varied time slots between set up/coffee at 6am until noon.

Those donated baked goods should have them at the site by 8am.

Additional fundraising ideas were brainstormed for future events, ie Community Breakfast, Plant sales, Raffle item donations, Community compiled cookbook sale, Community calendar, etc.

City addressed its part in sealing the floor, providing some furniture, and access via a coded lockbox. Volunteers will be needed to open/close operating hours at the Scout building.

Target Goal is to open by July 10th and eventually offer programming M-F 9-2pm

A donated quilt will be raffled off during the Lake Fest. Raffle Tickets sales available soon.

Foundational discussion regarding 501C status will continue.
