“Getting old is like climbing a mountain; you get a little out of breath, but the view is much better!” ~Ingrid Bergman
Purpose: Educating seniors on multiple dimensions of health and wellness in pursuit of
a balanced quality of life and health preservation through a variety of programs and activities.
Generally, it is accepted that a good quality of life involves the ability to remain independent for
as long as possible, adding that the more you can do for as long as you can do it with vitality and vigor,
the better one's self-concept and satisfaction with yourself and the aging process.
Hours of Operation:
Monday - Thursday (9am - 2pm)
*subject to programming/volunteers

Remember: We are old... we are not dead, yet!
Our Mission
"The mission is to provide activities and services which enables the lake area seniors the ability to maintain their quality of life in this community, to promote wellness and instill in its participants a
lasting sense of self worth through
varied participation options."
The senior citizens of our community (55+) need a place to socialize and share fellowship.
It gets harder to meet and make friends
when you're no longer in the working world.
We are social beings and having a healthy
social network is vital to happiness.
Keeping active mentally and physically is vital
for quality of life.

Our Vision
To offer seniors in the Greers Ferry Lake and surrounding communities a place to gather, share
interests, and learn ways to maintain their independence while enhancing health and happiness.
A resource for social networks
to participate in games, and puzzles; computer literacy, pot-luck meals, line-dance lessons, exercise classes
and many more activities
and services as we grow.
